METEM battleships' WEAPON SYSTEMS can be augmented with WEAPON MODS, enhancing their efficiency or reducing their weaknesses.
Mods can either be crafted with a FABRICATOR or SCAVENGED from derelict space structures and deserted stations. Higher-tier weapons (MkI-III) can accommodate a greater number of mods. A single type of mod can be installed multiple times for compounded effects, but keep in mind there's a maximum limit for each stat.
Level 1 mods
Unlocked at level 6, add 1 to their respective stat

- Fire Rate
- Heatsink
- Reload Speed
- Zoom
Level 2 mods
Unlocked at level 16, add 2 to their respective stat

- High Damage
Accuracy -1 Damage +6 Fire Rate -3
- Relentless Assault
Accuracy -1 Damage +6 Fire Rate +5 Heat Dissipation +0.5 Reload Speed +1
- Sniper Protocol
Damage +3 Fire Rate -3 Projectile Speed +2 Range +50% Zoom +0.75
- ↑ Can not be crafted, only looted
